KY Man Electrocuted While Removing Live Wiring from Utility Pole

SOUTH WILLIAMSON, KENTUCKY – A Hatfield man was electrocuted Sunday while trying to remove live wiring from a utility pole, state police said.

Trooper Shaun Little said it was unclear why Chad L. Morris, 22, was trying to remove the wiring from the property of the White Star Mining company in the South Williamson community in Pike County.

Little said Morris did not appear to have been employed by White Star.
