MI Man Killed in Electrical Accident Working on His Home

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MICHIGAN – State police in Livingston County say a 38-year-old Conway Township man was killed after be electrocuted.

It happened on North Fowlerville Road while the man was working on his home. Troopers say he was using a mechanical lift platform and made contact with an overhead power line. They say that is when the electricity caused the man and his clothes to catch fire.

Nearby workers tried to help but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

    That’s a real shame. Another unsuspecting person without a second chance.

    Goes to show how vigilant you need to be for electrical safety.
